Notes: There will be a turkey/eagle split to accommodate those who desire maximum/minimum distance. Oh, and Brownie is a wanker.

Monday, August 6, come on out and enjoy a long, strange trip to celebrate the birthday of one of the best musicians the world has ever known, Jerry Garcia!

Trail will start at precisely 6:20PM-ish from the Red Rocks Lounge in Old Colorado City. Hares will be Boring Lump Of Shit, Happy Sock, and brownie.

Trail is slowpoke friendly. Assuming one isn't a complete idiot (I know, that's a stretch for a hasher...), walkers shouldn't finish too far behind the FRBs.

Be sure to wear your tie-dye!

mugs

Mugs are finally in, and they turned out pretty good. There are some problems though.

First off, if you're not on the following list, you didn't get a mug. I had a few people come up to me at Granny's hash on Saturday and ask about the mugs, seems like they thought they're getting one but I had no recollection of them ever paying me or even telling me they wanted a mug. This list was passed around several times, and if you ain't on it, oh well.

Second, there are two mugs for Nappy, so I'm afraid someone on that list ain't gonna get a mug either. When I find out who got shorted I'll shoot an e-mail back to the mug guy, but with the way he's been working with me I can't guarantee anything.

Lastly, I'm not responsible for spelling errors. I think they spelled WOP wrong (WOOP). I have the e-mail with the names on it, and I made myself very clear to the guy to use my list. So don't yell at me if your mug says "Nothing Butt Net."

I will try to get to Arctic this Friday to hand out the mugs.

8-4-07 Hash?

It seems like we already had our analversary, what with GM changeover and all. Further, I had a lot of fun at the last trail, and would prefer to go ahead and consider it an all time hash event. For fuck's sake, Brownie made a bouncing-behind-the-back beer pong shot! That was EPIC!

So this next hash, 8-4-07 (which was supposed to be the analversary), is up in the air. Was supposed to be mismanagement, but Brownie can't make it, blah blah blah. So what should we do?

If there are no other ideas, I have a trail in mind. It would start at a bar, be A to B, end somewhere in the dirt so we could be loud and stupid, and best of all, we'd be near a bar at the end (not Arctic, sorry) so we could continue the mayhem into the on-after.

The thing is, I was thinking of running it with a turkey/eagle split (I'd be laying the turkey of course), so that all you marathon-Brownie-superhuman-hasher-types would be able to get your fitness and what not. Plus my trail would be somewhat direct and straight-ish. Not boring, but definitely not long and drawn out.

So Nappy Headed WHORE, are you up for laying this with me? Lincoln? Bloody ZZZ?

Also, if someone has a better idea, I could easily just put this one on the backburner for awhile. No biggie.

GM Changeover (San Francisco Style):

While I am pleased to announce the reign of the newest GM in the land of Kimchi, I must say that I was a little disturbed by the changeover ceremony....

Either way, mad props to MILF. Just don't turn us into a turn-based hash with ten sided dice and fire breathing elves....

Calling all Kimchi

Its been a life long dream of mine to play dodge ball professionally. This may not be professional but at least its gona be competitive. I am putting together a Dodge ball team to play in the wonderful Colorado Springs City league. I will be at Artic tonight with all the details.

All Games are on WED nights. The first Match is 6pm. Because of the rotating schedule we might play at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, or 9pm.



Fall DodgeballDivision:
CoedGames: 8 matches per team
Early Registration: July 23-August 3 / Fee: $90/team
Registration: August 6-10 / Fee: $140/team
NOTE: Officials Fees are not included on the registration cost
Season: September 4-November 2

Yo' Lincoln! Are we haring that hash in Old Colorado City on September 1st? That's the next available date. Let me know.

Virgin Update:

Just Genni, the virgin from the hash in Palmer Park, assured me that she would be there this Saturday for Granny's hash. She said that she had a great time, and that she could " drink all those bitches under the table." Her words, not mine. Looks like she'll have a great opportunity to prove it as there will be 15.5 gallons of PBR at our disposal. I'm looking forward to it.

Hey all,
The start point for the Wheeler Squealer B-day and House Warming Hash is the Janitell Middle school, across the street from Lowe's in Fountain. The highlight of the night will be after the short possible shiggy trail the PBR will be ice cold and flowing Start time around 3ish.

Kimchi Appreciation Night @ Arctic!

Wankers, come get some love showered unto you at Arctic Craft Brewery this Friday the 13th of July. John and Aaron feel that they would not have gotten through the winter without us (yay! who says drinking doesn't benefit others?!?) and want to show their gratitude to us Kimchi's by helping us do what we do best......guzzling down tons of good beer!

Hey Kimchi Kids! Just a quick reminder that you'll need to bring your $35 if you'd like to purchase one of the super cool happy coats that Wheeler Squealer brought us from Korea (what a nice lady). This includes you Texas people who want one. Send a check or something! Supplies are limited, so make sure to get one before they sell out. I think we have about 8-10.

On a side note, if you're going to be in town, make sure to make the Palmer Park trail on 7 JUL 07. Should be a good one. No themes, no frills, just some good old shiggy trail through the best park in all the land... and malt liquor. What a combo.
