MOPP

When:Apr 25, 2008
Where:Waldo Canyon trail head on I-24
Description:Beggin' For It, co-founder of the Lehigh Valley H3 (Allentown, PA), is comming to town and wants to hash. So there will be a special edition MOPP hash on Friday, April 25!

To get there, head west (towards the mountains) out of Manitou on I-24. Go past Cave of the Winds towards Waldo Canyon. When you reach the turnaround at the Waldo Canyon trailhead, flip a bitch and head back east on I-24. About a mile later you will see a big green sign that says, "Business 24 East, Manitou Spgs, Right Lane." There is a big dirt pulloff at this sign. Park there. It's a big lot, but carpooling would be a good idea and would make Al Gore very happy. In Manitou, we're much more tolerant towards different races and religions than folks in that "other" Springs city. To prove this, we will have a special manischewitz check in honor of our Jewish friends celebrating Passover that weekend. Oy vey! Bring a flashlight. It's not a night hash, but you will need some fake light in places. And bring dry shoes, as well as warm clothes for the circle. Not a Zippy trail by any means, but the trail will be over before dusk and circle will end in pleanty of time for the Manitou pub crawl. Hash starts at 6:20PM. Drinking beforehand at the Townhouse Lounge in Manitou if anyone is off work early.
