Bring: $5... a thirst for beer... clean socks (I'm told there will be shiggy)... and virgins. We NEED virgins. We don't care if it's your Grandma, we still need her to come hash with us.

Granny is leaving for Iraq soon... just in case some didn't know. Is there going to be anyone this Saturday for a Kimchi hash? I know the squids have some gay Navy stuff to do, something about balls, and WHORE will be getting a Cleveland Steamer in Austin. So that leaves: Granny, Wheeler, NBN, NASCOCK... I think MILF will be up in Denver for the GABF.... what about Happy Sock and Rylan? Trail would start in Old Colorado City around 4:00 PM if anyone decides to show up.

Kickball for grownups:

Granny Lingus, Wheeler Squealer and I went to that pick-up game of kickball that I had posted about previously on this blog yesterday. It started around 2:30 as advertised, and there were quite a few people there. Including us, I think the final count was around 15-17. We played NINE INNINGS, which is the longest kickball game I've ever played, but it was awesome. Down 18-10 in the bottom of the ninth, my team scored 10 runs to win it. Pretty dramatic really. Anyone interested in going to a game in the future?

Ft. Collins H3 #57 Hash Trash:

Here I am at the start. Free Bus(ch) was taking pictures all day, and apparently I was the first victim. The hash started at 10:00 AM, which was great except for the cold temperature.
They didn't have any beer at the start, so I had to go and buy a nice big 40 oz. of Olde English 800 at the liquor store 50 feet away. Nobody really wanted to help drink it though... Except our good buddy Yeast Infection, and she contributed with enthusiasm.
Circle was great, as always with the FCH3. Head Eunuch runs an awesome circle, so I was in heaven. I only had time to drink a third of the 8-ball before the hash, but I finished it in no time during circle. On a side note, Head Eunuch does a version of "There was a little bird" that is amazing. We should incorporate it into our circle sometime...
Finally, at the end, beer and crab-cakes were had by all. As usual, I drank too much... but still had enough sense to call C-4 for a ride. On the way home, I got to listen to the Buffs beat Oklahoma on the radio. All in all, it was a fine day.

#112 Hash Trash?

I don't know if I dare to publish it - apparently, the pack's Va-Jay-Jays got wet in the little bit of rain and wind and they gave up on the trail and went back to the bar where it was dry and warm.

Meanwhile, I'm out slogging through this hellish quick storm that blew up and was GONE by the time I made it back to the bar. I think they just got scared when I went straight down the face of the cliff. Shhhit - it wasn't that far of a drop. All I heard was bitching and moaning about how far apart the hash marks were. Well they found them, didn't they?

Whatever. We drank bum wine. And beer. And then went to Arctic and drank more beer. I didn't get home until 5 AM, so I'd say it was successful.

Oh, and the Hash seriously needs to start hanging at Arctic more - those freakin' melee-ers are breedin' like rats or something. We're getting a bad rap AND LOSING AT BEER PONG.

How about a hash-trash for those of us that couldn't make it to the Kimchi hash this past Saturday?

I've got a friend at work who has told me of a group of people who get together on Sunday afternoons and drink cheap beer and play kickball at Vermijo Park in Old Colorado City. They form up around 2:30 PM and it is very disorganized. They usually have about 10-15 people show up. Sound familiar? I figured it would be fun, and if anything, it would be a great place to meet some people who might be interested in hashing.... any takers? I can't do it this Sunday, but maybe the next one?

Hare: Lick My Lincoln
When: Saturday, Oct. 6, Drinking practice starts at 1:00PM, Hare away at 2:00 PM
On before and start: Murray St. Lounge, 609 N Murray Blvd, Colorado Springs
Trail: A to 1/2-B (hence the theme) dog friendly for friendly dogs (except the second beer stop, but you can tie them up outside!)
Bring: $ Hash Cash, whistle, a little extra beer money just in case, shag bag, a thirst for SHIGGY, band aids (I said there'd be SHIGGY), a bottle opener, virgins, your mom (if she's Hash friendly), ping-pong balls in case you want to play beer pong at the second beer check.
Directions: From Academy, turn East on Platte, then left on Murray. Bar is 1/2 block up on the right. From Powers, head West on Platte, turn right on Murray. The bar should be in the same spot unless the Kimchi get there first.
